Business Description
Pender County Tourism is the official office of tourism for Pender County and her six municipalities in collaboration with VisitNC, the state tourism office. We provide resources for visitors such as maps, travel guides, magazines, and information on where to eat, shop and play in Pender County and Topsail Island. We work closely with our travel and hospitality businesses to ensure we give visitors a quality experience that will keep them coming back to Pender County for generations.
About the Management
Pender County Tourism has a staff that is dedicated to cultivating Pender County’s Tourism industry. We have strong relationships with our communities that give us the opportunity to partner with our with Restaurants, Attractions, Accommodations, Events, Boutiques and Shops. We are members of several local, regional, state and national organizations such as the NC Beach, Inlet and Waterway Association, Topsail Island Shoreline Protection Commission, the NC Travel Industry Association, the National Association of Counties and the Southeastern US Events and Festival Association, just to name a few. What we learn, we share with our Tourism Businesses and offer participation in different programing like Visit NC’s Outdoor NC Program, Year of the Trail, Beach Clean, the NC Oyster Trail, and many others. Our knowledge and partnerships with our hospitality businesses help us to promote Pender County to visitors within and outside our state and truly creates an experience to remember.
