NC-50 & NC-210 meet at the Publix/Petco plaza
NC-50 from Holly Ridge and NC-210 from Hampstead meet here before the bridge. On beach days the whole funnel backs up to one light.
3 Surf City Bridge
NC-50 / NC-210 over the ICW
The main crossing at Surf City, a roundabout on each end. Summer weekends stack it up in both directions.
4 US-17 commuter corridor
US-17, the Hampstead stretch
Jams for a different reason: daily Wilmington commuters on US-17. Worst at weekday rush hours, not on beach days.
