Surf City Barbeque cooks whole hog barbecue finished with an eastern North Carolina vinegar-based sauce. A signature item is the PoBo BBQ Sandwich, which layers pork barbecue and fried cornbread with coleslaw and honey BBQ sauce. Side dishes are prepared fresh daily from traditional Southern recipes. The restaurant is located in the Hwy 50 commercial corridor on the mainland side of Surf City.
