Seaview Fishing Pier & Restaurant
About
Unclaimed Compiled by Topsail Guide from public sources.
Seaview is the northern pier, out at the end of Fishing Pier Lane in North Topsail Beach, and at over a thousand feet it is one of the longest on the North Carolina coast.
The $17 two-pole fee includes your fishing license. Most piers do not do that, and if you are visiting without a North Carolina Coastal Recreational Fishing License it changes the math considerably. Walking out without a rod runs about $2, and both day passes and season passes are listed on the pier house page.
During peak season the pier and the store stay open around the clock, which is why you will see people out there at three in the morning working the lights. There is a stocked bait and tackle shop and a restaurant on site, and the property also runs a motel and an RV park if you want to be able to walk to the water. Live webcams through SurfChex show pier and surf conditions before you commit to the drive.
The annual Dogfish Tournament runs here each February, if you fish the off-season. Call 910-328-3172 to check rates or conditions, both of which move outside the summer months. If you are fishing here in September, the NC flounder season guide has the dates and limits.
