Paddle NC operates a seasonal kayak and paddleboard location serving Topsail Island alongside its Carolina Beach and Hammocks Beach sites. Rental equipment includes solo kayaks, tandem kayaks, fishing kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, with walk-ups accepted and reservations preferred. Guided sunset and eco tours run at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, including trips to the Permuda Island Reserve in Stump Sound. Instruction is offered by ACA-certified instructors, and the season runs roughly March through October.
