As we enter the final month of the calendar year holiday spirits are picking up and local events have already begun.
If you’re going to be in or around Holly Ridge this Saturday, December 3rd, be sure to check out Holly Ridge’s Hometown Christmas.
Located at the Holly Ridge Community Center at 404 Sound Road [map], the event begins at 1 PM and will wrap up at 5 PM when the Town of Holly Ridge celebrates its annual tree lighting ceremony.
Throughout the afternoon visitors will have the opportunity to shop local craft vendors and enjoy a variety of food and drink from food trucks in attendance. Of course, no holiday celebration would be complete without Santa Claus, and visitors will have the opportunity to take photos prior to the tree lighting ceremony.
If you’re able, the Town of Holly Ridge is collecting new, unwrapped toy donations to help lift the spirits of local children this holiday season. Toy donations are actively being accepted at the Holly Ridge Town Hall at 212 North Dyson Street [map].
To learn more about the event you can visit the Town of Holly Ridge Website or the Holly Ridge’s Hometown Christmas Facebook Event Page.
