Families heading to Topsail High School on Monday, August 25th should plan for a new morning car rider traffic flow designed to improve safety and reduce congestion along U.S. Highway 17.

School officials shared a new traffic map showing the updated arrival and drop-off routes. Beginning tomorrow:
- All car riders must enter campus from Vista Road (off Highway 17).
- Follow the designated route around the parking areas and drop off students at the main entrance.
- After passing the athletic fields, student drivers and staff (only) will be permitted behind the school to access the lots to the West of the building. All other students who are to be dropped off – will move along the inner edge of the parking area and drop off at the main entrance.
- Vehicles will exit campus onto Jenkins Road, helping reduce bottlenecks at the Highway 17 entrance.
The updated pattern is expected to make morning drop-offs smoother and safer, especially with the start of a busy new school year. Families are encouraged to allow extra time during the first week as drivers adjust to the changes.
For a detailed look at the new traffic pattern, parents can view the school’s official map linked here or available in the weekly update.
